A Personal Message from our co-founder, Deidre

The loss of my first furbaby, Kors, at the age of 7 was something I was not prepared for. I had dreamed of owning a Pomeranian for years, and when I finally got him, it was a match made in heaven. Our bond was unlike anything I’d ever experienced, and he quickly became my entire world.

When kidney disease took him from me, I was devastated and too heartbroken to focus on his memorial. While working closely with his vet, my only priority was being present with Kors until his last breath.

Afterward, I realized how overwhelming grief can be and how important it is to have a memorial that honors the love we shared. The options I saw were cold and impersonal, which is why my vet and I chose to spread Kors’ ashes in a place where he would rest peacefully.

As co-founder of G'Night Fetcher and the pet mom influencer behind @thehappypoms, I now share feel-good pet content with millions of viewers, with a focus on helping not just pet parents but families that have lost their loved ones through grieve and healing.

Through G'Night Fetcher, we hope to inspire everyone to live fully, cherish their moments, and find peace through our products and resources.

Our Founding Team

Elsa Mou

An MBA graduate from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, Elsa has over ten years of experience investing in and growing startups in Dubai and New York City. During a business trip, she witnessed the tragic passing of a dog, which inspired her to create GNight Fetcher. Through this, Elsa has been invited to speak at DEADTalks 2024, the "TED Talks" of the death care industry hosted by The International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) and to write for Talk Death Daily, the industry's leading publication, to help moire families celebrate loved ones through unique keepsakes.

Deidre Brielle

Deidre, co-founder of G'Night Fetcher and the pet mom influencer behind @thehappypoms, shares feel-good pet content with millions of viewers. Her journey began as a school teacher, and she’s especially passionate about helping children cope with pet loss, a key focus of G'Night Fetcher. After losing her Pomeranian, Kors, Deidre found purpose in living each day fully and helping others do the same. Through G'Night Fetcher’s products and resources, she inspires furparents and furbabies to embrace joy and adventure, while offering comfort and support in times of grief.

Rainbow Bridge Raina, our partner Pet Loss Grief Companion

Jackie Pajan is so much more than the character "Rainbow Bridge Raina", who welcomes animals crossing over to the rainbow bridge where they live happily, healthily ever-after.

When Jackie is not fostering and caring for senior animals, she works full time as a pet loss grief companion, guiding members of her community through what some may call one of the most painful grieving journeys - saying goodbye to our animal soulmates.

We partner closely with Jackie to develop unique products in our calming affirmation cards for pet loss collection, that serve as beautiful sympathy gifts when you don't know what to say when someone lost a loved one.

Birdie | Chief Bark Officer

Birdie is our 3 year old Orange Pom who has a passion for hunting yogurt and her mom’s scrunchies. As Chief Bark Officer, Birdie is in charge of supporting (and protecting through ferocious Pomeranian barks) her mom while building G’Night Fetcher.

Coco | Chief Guardian Angel

A 15 lbs white Matese mix, Coco is our late Maltese who is guiding us from across the rainbow bridge. We thank Coco for all the joy he brought to us and the design inspirations for our pet memorial products, especially the Orchid Urn.

Gaia | Dog Model

A 5 lbs white Pomeranian, Gaia is the life of the party and the fluffiest model for our pet product lines. Gaia is friendly, open-minded, and ever-so-curious about trying new foods and meeting new fur-iends through her work as GNight Fetcher's professional dog model.

Our Team of Experts

Together, the GNight Fetcher team has more than fifty years of combined experience in psychology, design & manufacturing, and grief counseling. We care not only about creating aesthetic and unique memorial keepsakes, but ensuring that your experience interacting with our offerings is root in psychology and "feel-good" healing.

Mia Perpetua

From volunteering at soup kitchens in San Francisco to teaching Costa Rican children how to paint, and even giving up meat, to say that Mia is caring is an understatement. A nursing school graduate, Mia has always had a passion for helping others. After the tragic loss of her daughter at the age of four due to Dengue complications, Mia dedicated herself full-time to the death care industry. She has since become a certified grief counselor and is now a core pillar of the GNight Fetcher team, guiding our community in grieving and healing through our nature-inspired affirmation cards, cremation jewelry, and decorative urns.

Harrison Shih

Harrison grew up immersed in his family's business, established in 1991, which manufactures gifts and memorial products for major retailers such as Walmart. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Art, a Master's in Design, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business. As a Senior Product Manager at Amazon, Harrison honed his skills in user-centric product design, applying his expertise in psychology. He now leverages this experience and family manufacturing facilities to create exquisite products at GNight Fetcher.
